Glossary
Preferred translations for specific terms. When a glossary entry exists for a source word or phrase, the translation should use the preferred target term every time. Different from Protected Terms, which preserve the original word without translation.

Example: "floor mat" in English should always translate to "tapis de plancher" in French Canadian. If a translation uses anything else, the system will flag it.

Protected Terms
Words and phrases that should never be translated — brand names, trademarks, product names, and any term where the English original must always appear as-is. If a protected term is detected in your source text, the translator will warn you if it goes missing or gets altered in the translation.
